Letter to the Editor in the Kitsap Sun
"Even a diehard optimist would be hardpressed to find a silver lining in the gloominess of the current energy crisis, but apart from the pain and real hardship many of us are suffering (Re: "Coping With Higher Prices and Greater Needs," July 13), there may indeed be a bright silver lining.
We may finally be at the tipping point needed to seriously begin reducing and eventually eliminating our dependence on carbon-based fuels. If so, the future for our children and grandchildren will have just brightened and they can look forward to a healthy and thriving Mother Earth..."
