As part of the 1Sky Washington campaign, your organization is identified as a leader in a growing network of advocates for state, federal, and international policies that promote solutions. As a partner, you’ll be asked to be a voice for healthy climate policy.

1Sky Washington Policy Platform

CREATE FAMILY WAGE GREEN JOBS in Washington with a statewide mobilization for climate solutions, energy independence, and investment in a new energy economy. Offer training to help Washingtonians, especially those who most need new employment opportunities, achieve economic security and take advantage of new jobs in the green economy.

IMPLEMENT REAL LIMITS ON GLOBAL WARMING POLLUTION by harnessing market forces to drive public and private investment in solutions, creating jobs, protecting consumers, and reducing pollution to safe, science-based levels. As we reduce pollution and invest in the transition to a clean energy future, we must provide direct and indirect financial support for low- and moderate-income families to successfully make that transition.

REFOCUS ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENTS toward efficiency, clean energy, and transportation choices. Avoid major new investments and commitments that increase emissions and fossil fuel dependence.
